State Route 76 is a 17-mile-long (27 km) route in Shelby County and Talladega County. The western terminus of the route is at the junction with State Route 25 north of Wilsonville, and the eastern terminus of the route is at the junction with State Route 21 at Winterboro.

Route description

As a standalone route, SR-76 is two-lane route that passes through rural areas of Shelby County and Talladega County. Approximately four miles north of Childersburg, the route junctions with U.S. Highways 231 and 280. SR-76 is then routed with US-231 and US-280 along a four-lane divided highway leading into Childersburg, where it diverts from the U.S. Highways. From Childersburg until the route’s terminus at Winterboro, SR-76 is again routed along a two-lane highway.
